A key challenge of Product Line Engineering (PLE) is managing all the different options and configurations, along with the many underlying features required to support them. Variability Management methodologies have been developed to address this challenge and organize the different possible applications for a product line. In this webinar, we will show the use of MapleMBSE to support variability management methodologies through Excel in order to generate multiple configurations.
Marco Forlingieri
Marco Forlingieri is an MBSE expert who worked in the railway, automotive, aerospace and defence industries . His main area of expertise revolves around the adoption of MBSE practices in combination with Product Line Engineering (PLE). He is considered one of the leading European experts in the field of Variant Management. Since 2018 he started to focus on the Chinese and Japanese automotive industries. In parallel with his consulting activity, Marco is currently leading the MB-PLE at Airbus.
Mohammad Chami
Mohammad Chami is a full-time, tool-independent, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) consultant. With over 10 years of experience in MBSE, Mohammad has gathered valuable experience in different MBSE applications, including digital transformation, systems modelling, requirements engineering, functional architecture, variant management, testing, safety analysis, and verification and validation. He is an active member of INCOSE and actively participating in both its German and Swiss chapter. As a passionate lecturer whose goal is to motivate others, he enjoys attending and speaking at MBSE-related conferences.
